Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager

We use Dashlane primarily for it's password management functionality as we work within the cyber security market and want to use best in class tools. With its Vault functionality, password generator and auto checker of site passwords, we've found it to be an invaluable business tool in order to secure our passwords

  • user interface could be slightly cleaner

  • much of the "ROI" difficult to measure as it's protecting us from losing significantly potentially
  • Easier onboarding
  • Offboarding is secure and compliant as the data is held by the company and the employees personal logins are taken with them making it portable for both parties
Whilst we haven't really used many others, we did demo and review several options for our password management needs. Dashlane is always preferred in business and allows us to have multiple accounts and separate business and personal credentials cleanly and keep the ringfenced which is something we found lacking in competitor products
Yes - Many users used the default products such as google or apple password generators, but we needed something highly suited to employee administration and having dashlane across the estate meant we were able to see, at a glance, each employees security score/footprint and where to improve posture and educate individual staff
We reviewed and demo'd but didn't find it had the suite of rich features we have with Dashlane

Thus far it has been well suited to all of our needs. the password manager, once signed in via master works very well and the generator is a welcome addition with the added benefit of being able to change characters dependant on the sites requirements.
We all use the darknet checker also which updates us in real time of any breaches of our details
