Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager
We use Dashlane to ensure that all of our Team Members are storing their internet credentials securely. Additionally, it is very important that we are able to share the credentials with each other as necessary. We use Dashlane across platforms - from Windows to Mac and from iOS/iPadOS and Android.
Pros
- Securely storing credentials - including relevant data about each credential (notes, email, etc.)
- Easily share credentials amongst relevant Team Members
- Compatibility across platforms
Cons
- Specifying "Username" vs. "Email" when initially setup login... often have to go back in a second time to have access the "Username" field.
- More convenient storing of Security Questions, etc.
- If it could add third party authentication service - like Symantec's VIP Access
- Faster off-boarding - no longer have to reset passwords when someone leaves
- Fast on-boarding
- Less worry about passwords being compromised
It has been quite some time since we selected Dashlane, but it was a combination of features and price - it offered the greatest value with user sharing and cross-platform capabilities.
