Overall Satisfaction with Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room

Our company uses Datasite to connect with our clients across the M&A landscape in order to share data between multiple parties engaged on a particular deal. My group is primarily focused on Insurance, however, various other workstreams use Datasite to share data specific to those areas.

Pros

  • Download multiple files at once
  • Easy to navigate across multiple projects
  • User interface is fast and does not cause delays

Cons

  • Make the "projects" screen more detailed in order to better decipher between projects.
  • Enable MFA in order to increase security and prevent bad actors.
  • Implement a chat function to speak with customer service.
  • Allows my organization to quickly identify new data that has been uploaded in order to quickly communicate status to clients.
  • No limits on number of files or file sizes which make it a great tool for any deal, large or small.
Very easy to use compared to other sites. Interface is extremely easy to use for all users and allows my organization to quickly work on projects while communicating status to our clients.
Much easier to navigate folders and data within the specific projects. The data rooms mentioned above sometimes only allow for one download at a time which significantly bogs down our team members. Datasite does a great job of allowing users to quickly review and download data in order to get more time back in the day.

Datasite does a great job with the easy-to-use interface and the ability to navigate between multiple projects. I would like to see MFA be enabled to give my organization and our clients "peace of mind" around security.
