Overall Satisfaction with Deloitte Consulting

Pros

  • Thorough due diligence/questions list
  • Solid understanding of financial fundamentals at every level of the organization
  • Ability to recommend and implement relevant financial products (ERP, etc).

Cons

  • Due diligence questions list was extensive, but questions were occasionally not applicable.
  • Financial compliance knowledge was extensive; however, HR compliance/other compliance was lacking.
  • Felt like analysts were asking for too many meetings vs. doing the work and asking questions via email as needed.
Deloitte Consulting had a better pricing package than KPMG for the work that we wanted accomplished.
Deloitte Consulting would be great for financial audits, financial process improvements and quality of earnings studies. We used the same group to pre-audit compliance and for some compliance topics that they stated they could cover (i.e. Human Resources), I found many mistakes and ended up project managing that piece of the engagement myself.
