It offers overall assistance of maintaining all the software models that we design. The team audits performance and expenditure of resources for transparency. It has minimized wastage of funds to projects and tasks that are not beneficial to the entire organization with profitable strategies. The networking tools enhances faster and effective workflow control. The cost of running this product is affordable according to the company budgeting procedures and the customer support staff is reliable.

We have not worked with other consulting firm in our organization. The performance of KPMG Compliance Consulting has been great since we deployed it. It has saved the company a lot of funds that were misused by funding wrong projects and created transparent means of expenditure. It has enhanced productive relationship with our vendors through initiation of better licensing terms. It has established better methods of approaching contracts and allocating suitable funds.

KPMG was brought in for a payroll and HR Compliance audit when the fintech startup I was working for was going through an acquisition/sale process. I was involved with providing payroll, payroll tax, personnel, benefits, and other human resources and additional financial data to KPMG for their due diligence process for the buyer.

Likelihood to Recommend
KPMG Compliance Consulting is well suited for project based audit work, project based implementation work, or buy or sell side compliance audits for Mergers and Acquisitions. The team I worked with was excellent on the financial side of the Human Resource discipline (ex. ensuring payroll taxes were applied and collected correctly), but did not seem as strong around benefits compliance as I was expecting (ex. asking questions of us that are only appropriate for Corporations of 100+ people, etc).

  • KPMG provided a 3rd party vetted interpretation of business numbers and processes, so both sides of the transaction felt comfortable

Alternatives Considered
KPMG was selected by the buyer but we did have input to and agree with the decision. I do know they also looked at Deloitte Compliance Consulting for the same project scope. I'm unaware if KPMG was chosen over Deloitte due to a pre-existing relationship or a budget/resourcing reason. There was a RFP process that was run by the buyer.

KPMG is currently an Oracle Transportation Management focusing on Global Trade Management implementation partner in North America and Canada. We have customers who are non compliant with the recent changes made by the government when it comes to trade compliance, tax rebates etc.KPMG has helped support our customers by building out specific processes.

They are very versed in Oracle Transporation Management and specifically Global Trade Management. They helped a customer in Washington, Seattle understand where they can save cash and work within the legalities when trading with specific countries.
