Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Talk

We have three lines with Dialpad. I have the app on my phone and on my computer. We don't have to have separate phones because it works with our current devices. I can also seamlessly switch calls between my cell and computer if I answer it away from my desk. It also keeps track of all the different people and companies I have to contact on a regular basis.

Cons

  • Voicemail transcripts could do with improvement
  • Sometimes the line does not ring when it should
  • Calls from my cell phone stop the audio while it rings
  • Ease of use
  • Secure and private
  • Completely online
  • Same system over multiple locations
  • This has met our objective of having one team in many locations

When it's not a big deal to miss a call, it's great. If you need to reliably catch every call, you may need to do some trouble-shooting. When using the app on your cell phone, other calls are invasive even if you do not answer them because the audio from the call you are on cuts out automatically. This can be a problem when you've waited on hold forever and when you finally get an answer, they think are you aren't there because you got a call at the wrong moment.
