Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I and a team of three other drafters took it for trial. We were using Draftsight as an alternative to AutoCAD.

  • Cheap alternative to AutoCAD
  • A more user-friendly Interface.
  • Native file support.
  • Industry-specific layouts and products.
  • Definitely a value for the money when transitioning out of AutoCAD.
  • Helped staff migrate from the use of expensive software.
  • Increased productivity rates since it's not bloatware.
We moved on from Draftsight even though it was better than AutoCAD.
The only scenario I find this product well suited is the price factor as compared to AutoCAD. There are also better alternatives that provide a similar experience and features to this on the market.
