Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

Pros: DraftSight is a welcome addition to the SOLIDWORKS Premium package I use and a great replacement for AutoCAD subscription. Interface and command toolbars are intuitive and easy to use. You barely see the difference from the older version of AutoCAD 2012 LT we used in the past. Customer support was great so far.

I used only AutoCAD and it was as good or better than that program.
Great as AutoCAD replacement, smooth transition for AutoCAD users, intuitive commands and comparable or identical to AUTOCAD. Probably not so good for 3D modeling. Some stability issues were present for large size drawings and an autosave option for 2017 and 2018 versions. Printing quality as PDF output was sometimes a bit blurry.
