Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
DraftSight is being used for cabinet design and construction. It is being used by two people in the company. DraftSight allows me to design, draw and accurately dimension home cabinets so that the manufacturing team can build the cabinets offsite and help reduce installation problems.
- DraftSight is very intuitive. It is easy to figure out how to use a command.
- There are many shortcuts in DraftSight Professional which help to speed up the drawing process.
- DraftSight toolbars, menus, commands are very easy to use and understand. This helps reduce frustration when using a new product and quickly get up to speed.
- DraftSight continues to update its product with upgrades that really help the end user and their support is great.
- I don't have any real negative features. I'm disappointed with the cost of DraftSight 2019 3D version. I've been a DraftSight Professional user for a couple of years now and I really like the product. I'd like to explore the 3D version but the cost is high.
- By using DraftSight Professional, I can create accurate drawings allowing the manufacturing team to confidently build the product and not worry about installations problems.
I originally chose DraftSight because they provided a free version. I was able to quickly get up to speed and realized I would benefit by purchasing the professional version. DraftSight does everything I need it to do at a reasonable price. I don't see any reason to choose a more expensive product.
