Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

It is used by me in the course of my normal business activity.
  • It is intuitive and allows us to import CAD files to allow lighting design calculations to be carried out.
  • Where required, we can start from scratch and produce drawings of buildings.
  • It has the same abilities of other drawing products which cost a lot more to purchase.
  • The help file is generally too general and could be re-configured to provide simple answers.
  • Also, the help file assumes that everyone is fully conversant with drawing programmes.
As we only use this for our own work and generally we work with files that have been created by others, we do not get into too many situations which may cause us to have to make detailed changes.
