Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

We use DraftSight for computer aided design on projects. These include loadout and seafastening of project cargoes. In the past it was only careful planning of the stowage by stevedores and seafastening by the vessel. Nowadays CAD software is used for loadouts of heavy lifts, like generators and other power plant elements, wind power elements, steel section of vessels, mega yachts, etc. in order to streamline the process and make it safer. DraftSight is a perfect technical solution, which aids the work of our surveyors and supercargoes. The only drawback is that is should also be possible to have it work on a mobile platform like Android.

DraftSight's price is more affordable.
We mostly use DraftSight for project loadout assessment and pre-planning. In the process, we receive and work on files prepared by different parties and clients. It has allowed for seamless communications and has helped us compile all of the information relevant to the project. DraftSight was therefore found to be well suited in all our scenarios.
