Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

The software is being used by one individual to do drawing revisions and to generate new drawings.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Inexpensive
  • Has all the capabilities of more expensive software

Cons

  • Slightly slow to load
  • Editing text could be done better to allow easier changing of fonts and size
  • Saves me time by allowing me to make quick changes myself
  • Inexpensive, so I could justify purchasing a license for myself
DraftSight is great for editing drawings and generating relatively simple drawings. But, it does not have any 3D capabilities. A fastener library/spec would also be helpful.
