Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

It was used to design and rebuild a temple as charity work. It was only used by me as I am the only person with an engineering background among the committee members. DraftSight has really allowed me to explore my full capability to actually design and build the temple as per the request of the team members.

Pros

  • Accurate measurement illustration on the CAD drawings minimized the actual site works errors.
  • Easy to use and user friendly.
  • Practical interface and layout.

Cons

  • More design templates made available for the rookies to access and utilize the layouts.
  • I have actually saved the architect cost for the organization.
DraftSight is affordable and suitable for my needs.
For me, it worked perfectly for the design and material BQ estimation for a particular engineering/civil works.
