Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I use it to create hydraulic schematics.

Pros

  • Mouse gestures work well
  • Repetitive functions are easy
  • Copy and paste function across multiple files are easy

Cons

  • Use of imported files (images) creates large files and becomes slow.
  • DraftSight has allowed me to create documents with more clear information that allows for consistent assembly of machinery.
I used DraftSight to create hydraulic schematics and like how well it works for simple line drawings. Multipage documents are not easy to create or I have not been able to figure it out.
