Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

DraftSight is used by our engineering team to draft the intricate details of the systems that are built by our company. We use those drawings to detail to our customers what they are receiving in our systems as well as provide the pages to our building teams with the detailed dimensions.

  • Trusted source for design.
  • For what we do as a company, we currently don't see any room for improvement with the software.
  • Positive: Helped boost our ability in designing systems and show the details.

DraftSight is suitable in the areas of designing a 2D system that will have cutout pages with detailed dimensions in the design for building. One specific scenario is that we used a different design product, at one point in time, for these same purposes however, the sheets for our building team didn't pan out from the other software. This is what lead us to us DraftSight for all future projects.
