Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

Currently being used by our organisation. Mainly used for product detailing and designing of machineries for our precast industry. We have found this to be on par with AutoCAD and pretty similar in UI. Our team members use DraftSight for precast panel designing also and found to be very convenient.

almost there..
Mechanical design is a strong point. Weak point would be architectural designing. Also the pricing is inching up towards industry leaders like AutoCAD. There should be discounted pricing available for renewals which is missing now. It would be a good idea if the product is offered to colleges were the students can get trained on this so that pool of trained people on the product is available in the market.
