Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
Used as an alternative to cad by myself only at the moment. I use it to draw and size solutions for my customers and check our own aluminum extrusion sizes to ensure our products will fit together. I do know that a couple of my colleagues used to use the free version before it was changed. They now rely heavily on our design department when needed.

DraftSight is much easier to use, as I really didn't get along with SketchUp. As it is so similar to cad, I am able to find solutions and then discuss [them] with my design department. This makes the production process much smoother and easier, and we can show the production team how we envisage this working.
