Overall Satisfaction with Duo Security

Duo Security is used for our Any Connect VPN and also our RDM service. The business problems it addresses are added security and clarification that the actual user is signing in to our network and using our resources. This app is utilized across the entire department for added security. Every morning each engineer has to use DUO to sign into the VPN.

Pros

  • 6 digit code authentications.

Cons

  • Exiting and opening the app to get the push notification.
  • Reaction to pressing the app.
  • Having to open the app to complete the process.
  • Added layer of security.
  • Proof of authenticity.
Very easy to setup as an end user for RDM. I would recommend DUO to any organization.
I think this product is very for businesses that have employees that work from home. To have additional security it benefits from attackers stealing creds and attempting to log in as a user.
The user interface is very easy to set up and the knowledge base is easy to read and understand.
Reading the knowledge base to understand the setup. The support page was very informative and easy to read to allow users to set up.
Our company has not used any other products besides DUO.
Well suited when providing an extra aspect to authentication. When you sign up for the service you use your telephone number so you know it is you getting the push notification and authentication for RDM.
