Overall Satisfaction with e-automate
We use e-automate for a lot of different things within our business but specifically we use the entire suite to track our expenses, bill our customers for supplies, track contracts and costs associated with equipment that we sell and more. e-automate has been a blessing since we started using it in 2010 and it has come a long way with the addition of a native technician application called Mobile Tech. Mobile Tech has helped keep track of our technicians, efficiently dispatch them to other service requests in the area that they currently service and better tracking of used parts.
Pros
- Contract Billing
- Equipment Tracking
- Customer Management
- Contact Management
- API Integration
- Counter Tracking for Equipment
Cons
- User Experience out of the box
- The solution needs a GUI update
- Better in application user manuals and videos
- Time Savings
- Reduce manual work with the introduction of mobile technician application
- Easy to use reports to track expenses and profits
We came from an old DOS based program called CalType, in our experience, it was a complete nightmare and impossible to flip back and forth between contract and equipment editing. e-automate allows you to open multiple windows within the application and tile them so you can easily reference data from another section of the program. This has allowed for us to streamline contract additions in our system as well as editing them based on feedback we receive from our customers like remarks.
An all in one platform has made it easy to train our people on it's use and viability.
