ECI e-automate is our company-wide ERP tool that handles almost all of our company operations. This includes our dispatch, AR, AP, contracts, billing, reporting, and more. Other additional features allow you to track first call efficiency, customer reviews, profitability, sales, revenue, projects, statistics, trends, and many other areas that are of interest to any CFO.
  • Dispatch is easy
  • Account set up is easy
  • Allowing multiple, movable windows within the program so you can bounce between screens.
  • More friendly integration with third party apps.
ECI e-automate is a very stable on-prem application. The cloud version has yet to be tested and determined, but I have heard ok reviews. It is scalable for any size business to get started and then to add features; it functions as it should and is a robust tool with several features that can easily allow any entity to run their business.
Sometimes when you need answers quickly, a voice on the phone is far better than having to wait for email support or a callback. I have found this to have delays and feel ECI e-automate should invest more in its support infrastructure.

ECI e-automate is used for the copy/print side of our company to track copier service calls, inventory, and billing/invoicing. The Managed Services (IT) side of the company utilizes E-Automate for quoting, inventory, and accounting. The service ticket tracking is handled on another side of the company. We have been running this has a company for well over 20 years, and we got it to help streamline and automate the tasks of our copier technicians, as well as streamline the billing of our contracts we hold on our copiers.

  • Integration with 3rd party software.
  • Customizations are costly.
  • Support can be difficult.
  • New users need a lot of hand-holding to learn it.
For the aspect of my job it does a great job with quoting needed hardware for our customers and tracking it from quote to order, to invoice. I also will utilize it to look at serial numbers of equipment sold should a support ticket or RMA needs to be entered in with the hardware manufacturer.
