Overall Satisfaction with e-automate

We use e-automate as an all in one solution to take care of billing, contracts, and ticketing.

Pros

  • Keeps inventory accurate
  • Contracts accurate
  • bills contract invoices

Cons

  • Support - Support tickets and training are not offered in a timely manner. A support ticket shouldn't have a week and a half turn around
  • Training - We were offered a quick class at the start but continued training would have been helpful
  • Pricing - The price for the amount you get was unreasonable. Every "new" service offered come with an added expense, of course, without support
  • Clear and concise workflow - Multiple ways of doing the same task, which can cause confusion
  • Error reporting - Some things were "greyed" out but there wasn't a clear reason why. Training would have helped.
  • Account Management. Every time we needed something from our account manager, it was always hard to get in touch with them.
  • This cost us more than we received back in time spent
  • It increased our workload
  • It did show us profitability, however, that would be dependent on everything entered correctly, and, if we had a problem, we couldn't get help.
We didn't benefit. The contract management was clunky and mainly hard to find logic in the layout. Some improvements were made in 21.0, but it still didn't help.
Having one system is fantastic, as long as they offer better support. We didn't get that with E-Auto.
Rev.io answers the phone when we call and opens a ticket which is generally closed by EOD.

If support and training were offered in a more effective manner, e-automate could work better. However, we felt that once the product was sold to us, we were on our own. Every time we would have a question on how to use anything in e-automate, it would take 1 to 2 weeks to get an answer. So, in that regard, it isn't well suited for anyone in my opinion.
