Overall Satisfaction with Ellucian Colleague

Ellucian Colleague is used as the main ERP system for our college. We have in use many of the modules that are available, such as Core Student, Human Resources, Purchasing, Student planning, and ETHOS. It handles the student registration process, employee management, student record management, business office functions, and also integrates with many third-party systems.

  • Ellucian Colleague offers solutions that make it easy to unite our staff with students and alumni
  • Its a versatile solution and adaptable with third-party solutions as well
  • Their portal technology is outdated; they still currently use SharePoint 2013.
  • Engagement from Ellucian customer representatives
  • Recruiting module needs to be updated to match other solutions in the industry.
  • Self-service features
  • Integration with third-party solutions
  • Ability to customize to fit our needs.
  • Positive return on student impact and engagement
  • Positive relationship between our alumni and development staff
  • Consulting engagements do get costly with Ellucian professional services
Ellucian Colleague has been in use at my institution for over 20 years. We have recently reevaluated the solution and, from a financial perspective, it was our decision to stick with it for the future as well. We have realigned our budget working with Ellucian and partnering for the future by adopting early access to new modules and providing feedback.
