Overall Satisfaction with ELMO Software

Prior to implementing ELMO, we were facing difficulties such as:
  • Inconsistent recruitment and onboarding processes compromised the candidate experience;
  • People processes were inefficient;
  • Managing HR compliance was onerous; and
  • A lack of centralised employee data made visibility of people-related obligations difficult.
Since implementing, we have been able to:
  • Standardise our recruitment process and hire in an average of 20 days;
  • Implement organisational workflows to decrease admin time and increase efficiency;
  • Make people-related decisions quickly by using data that is instantly (and easily!) available.

Pros

  • Decreases level of administration for day-to-day HR requirements.
  • Provides exceptional candidate experience during recruitment.
  • Easily and effortlessly administers our learning management system.
  • Implementation consultants and support team are always available to assist in getting the most out of the system.

Cons

  • The process for integrating the system with external payroll systems is very involved and takes some time.
The ELMO system is user friendly and intuitive. Technical and implementation support is detailed, with no question too big or too small.
Support has been second to none. All implementation consultants and technical support consultants are friendly and spend the time to gather information and provide assistance.

Our industry is heavily regulated and as such we have hundreds of policies, procedures and other documentation that needs to be part of our Learning Management System. ELMO allows us to set these up in 'assignment rules' so that an employee is allocated the correct training on commencement, without the administrative burden that other systems had.
