Overall Satisfaction with EMS Software

We are using EMS to book resources within the University.
  • Resource management.
  • Conferencing booking.
  • Lack of intuitive reports.
  • Integrating with other applications such as Campus Labs.
  • Creating a Mac desktop. We have a lot of Mac users.
  • More robust Mobile application.
  • We have increased our revenue on conferencing slightly since using EMS.
  • Lack of intuitive reporting has made understanding the exact revenue generated has been a challenge.
  • Consolidation and central management. Moving other departments into one platform.
We have not really used other applications. It has been used at SCSU for quite a while, but there is ongoing frustration and at multiple times there have been talks about looking at other applications. We are hoping that the merger between Accruent and EMS will provide us with a road map to better reporting.
We are currently looking to on-board more departments so we haven't had any experience on how well it scales hence the neutral rating.
At this point since I am fairly new to the platform it seems very limited.
It has been working well in creating reservations unfortunately the interface is not very intuitive and ramping up new users is a challenge.
