Overall Satisfaction with F5 BIG-IP
We use F5 BIG-IP LTMs for our local traffic load balancing. Also we use F5 BIG-IP GTMs for our GSLB funtion across multiple data centers. The F5 BIG-IP product help to make our application robust.
Pros
- GTM can collect the VIP stats from large scales of the LTMs and efficiently run the GSLB function
- LTM has multiple load balancing algorithm to handle the local load balancing effectively
Cons
- improve the management plane capability to handle large scales of the REST API calls in short time frame.
- to show the serial number information in the F5OS management GUI (now we can only see this info from command line).
- F5 BIG-IP product help us to efficiently deliver the application traffic locally and globally
