Overall Satisfaction with F5 Distributed Cloud Bot Defense

For websites, it's stupid simple, as it only needs to be configured within XC. With mobile apps, there is a bit more effort involved, but it's still manageable.
We have successfully eliminated the need for CAPTCHA, greatly enhancing the user experience by requiring no interaction from the user. It is fast, efficient, and most importantly, fully GDPR-compliant for EU countries. Additionally, it provides valuable insights into why a request was classified as a bot. The solution can be integrated seamlessly without requiring changes to the software and is fully configurable within F5 XC. And last but not least, it is highly accurate in detecting bots—the best we have seen so far.

Official support can sometimes take time to reach the right people. However, once you are in contact with the appropriate experts, the support is excellent, as F5 staff are true specialists. On the other hand, we always receive prompt assistance from our local sales team, who typically help us connect with the right people quickly.

It works very well as long as your protected forms are located on specific pages.However, it is less suitable if, for example, you have a login form on every page of your website. As a JavaScript needs to be injected on every page for bot detection, which increases the number of license-relevant requests - which may increase your licensing costs
