Pros
- Geographical targeting - Facebook has the best geographical advert targeting of any social media platform out there. It allows us to target towns and even the smallest districts, in our target locations.
- Pricing - At the moment, Facebook is the cheapest social media platform to advertise on, coupled with the fact it is still the largest mainstream social media platform.
- Analytics - Facebook for Business provides us with broad and concise analytical data, detailing how each and every of our advert campaigns was received by targeted users. By diving into this provided analytics, we have been able to continuously improve every aspect of our social media advertising campaigns.
Cons
- Communication - At present and this has been the case for years, there is no specific way to communicate with Facebook when we run into hurdles, during advert campaigns. We are only allowed to send messages to Facebook help through a contact form, without a specified response time.
- The Facebook [for] Business interface can be a lot more intuitive and usable on mobile device. At the moment, I can do very little on Facebook [for] Business using my mobile phone, and on computer it isn’t very intuitive , albeit you get used to it overtime.
