Figma Organization

Overall Satisfaction with Figma

We are building a new advertising experience and technologies which aim for both consumers and business users of ads platforms, hence, the problems range from what the user experience is with advertising - from formats to density to placements - and advertiser experience of creating/ targeting/ scheduling/ analyzing campaigns.

We use Figma to mock external experiences and UIs for internal users and advertisers
  • prototyping for UX research
  • ability to have multiple options within the same file, keep organize, archive
  • Figma for Produc managers - often when I had to mock something as a product manager, I wish there are easy to find templates and starting points
  • tooltips
  • Improved alignment between different function
  • Speed to market increased with prototyping
  • Eng asks for mocks even when they do not need one as they like to have the visuals now

Do you think Figma delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Figma's feature set?

No

Did Figma live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Figma go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Figma again?

Yes

Figma is a gold standard in the industry and has a lot of advance tools attractive to UX designers and professionals. It allows to create simple mocks and advance prototypes.

However, for non UX professional I find it less intuitive and hard to use compared to my previous experience with photoshop. As a Product manager, creating some quick mocks is not that quick and the tool is just too advanced and not intuitive. As PMs we are may nit be the target users
