Overall Satisfaction with FormAssembly

FormAssembly is our all-in-one form builder for online donation pages, program registration, and subscription signups. All our forms are integrated with Salesforce Org, we also integrate some of our forms with Google Sheets. Since FormAssembly is a software as a service (SaaS) platform, our website no longer crashes and reduces our IT workload.

Pros

  • Great Customer Service and Technical Support
  • Easy Form Builder
  • Third-party Integrations (specifically Salesforce)
  • Extensive Self-Help Documentation

Cons

  • Making grouped fields more visual in the back-end. Maybe offer a backend or front-end view options for form editing.
  • More options for response reports instead of just a dashboard style view. More filtering options.
  • Reduced form build time by 50%
FormAssembly has enough complexity and flexibility to be useful for advance form builders and enterprise solutions. Beginner form builders maybe be a little overwhelmed with all the options and may under utilize the software. The help site provided by FormAssembly has training videos, webinars, and extensive documentation for learning about all the FormAssembly offers.
Our website couldn’t handle self-hosting Formidable Forms as a plug-in on our website and would frequently crash. Titan Forms had poor communication and was difficult to schedule customer service. Formstack was self-hosted on our Salesforce, but was overpriced for our use case and had limited customizations. FormAssembly has an easy to use form builder, easy to setup third-party integration, and great customer service.

FormAssembly is a robust platform and can tackle complex use cases. If Salesforce integration is critical, then FormAssembly is the right enterprise solution for a form builder. I’m not familiar with the lowest license levels, but FormAssembly maybe a little pricey for simple use cases that don’t require critical third-party integrations.
