Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Foxit volume licensing to distribute Foxit PDF Editor PDF Editor and E-Sign licenses within our organization. We generally use it for basic tasks, like editing or creating PDF documents.

The software works well and as intended when users learn the tools. This can be challenging at times when all the end uses has aver seen was Adobe before. Many users also have multiple devices and being locked to one license per device with no option to add another license to a user is also a limiting factor.

In our case Cost was the deciding factor. We don't have a need for any advanced tools or features. Our use cases involve merging or splitting up documents, e-signatures and simple markups.

Most users are used to and are more familiar with Adobe PDF products and depending on your end users this may be a hurdle. Foxit PDF Editor looks and works a little bit different and if users aren't able to adapt this can become a burden on the support staff.
