Overall Satisfaction with Gemini

Gemini is used as our backup ai by most team members, after Claude, GPT. Gemini is great for quick computing tasks and quick answers that we need when we don't want to waste our limited usage with other ai tools. We usually have less conversational interactions and more straight problem solving.

Pros

  • Spreadsheet formulas and modifications of csv files
  • schema markup
  • javascript code
  • meta titles and descriptions for web pages

Cons

  • Gemini could use improvement feeling more conversational and warm.
  • I don't like being asked in an A/B test for Gemini to compare two different responses.
  • Gemini needs more personality
  • It's sped up some workflows
  • It's provided not accurate information sometimes
  • It's a great tool when used in the GSuite with sheets and other drive functions
It's standard usability interface - no problems or challenges using it. I do prefer Claude still because of the different options/modes you can toggle on and off. I don't think Gemini has those options. It's a great daily companion for quick problem solving but not great for larger projects or conversations.
Gemini is fast and does solid responses in most cases, but it's not as warm or personal as these other two. I prefer it for quick answers and quick calculations, but not for project based or critical thinking. It's more like an employee vs. an ally working with you on a project.

Do you think Gemini delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Gemini's feature set?

Yes

Did Gemini live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Gemini go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Gemini again?

Yes

It's well suited for quick problem solving and asking questions that have a specific answer. We often use it to ask questions about Google and SEO as all of these things change. It's less appropriate for deep research and conversational transactions. It excels at quick problem solving like math and formulas or small code chunks - but not large ongoing projects.
