Overall Satisfaction with Google Hangouts Meet
Google Hangouts Meet is used in our organisation to hold virtual meetings, especially during the 2020 quarantine period. Yes, Google [Hangouts] Meet is being used by all departments in our organisation at the different stages of production of media content where collaboration is necessary but involved parties cannot meet up in person. The business needs addressed are the need to collaborate in meetings remotely. This has saved our organisation a lot of logistics costs.
- Supporting Remote meetings between multiple parties.
- Not much a complaint
- Google meets has reduced money spent by us on logistics costs that would have been incurred as a result needing to move people to a single location, as opposed to just meeting online.
- Google meet has also saved us a lot of time since decision making has been faster ever since we integrated it into our systems.
- Zoom
The main positive feature in Google Meet over Zoom to me is the fact that Google meet can be seamlessly deployed in the browser with its full functionality. Unlike Zoom for which you need to download an extra application to use. This consequently makes workflow smooth when transitioning between something like emails and taking part in a meeting.
