Overall Satisfaction with Google Meet
Google Meet is one of our top five video conferencing solutions. My firm has a very diverse communications universe as we interact daily with clients and organizations across the state and nation. Therefore we need to be confident and capable with all front line video conferencing options that are used by these stakeholders. Google is ubiquitous in the legal industry and the retail customers we rely on are almost universally familiar with Google as a company. Google Meet seamlessly integrates with our Google calendar function, and we are generally very pleased with the actual technical performance of the program. I wouldsay it gets used 2-25 times a month, all depending on who sends the invitations. Our firm prefers another service as a top choice, but Google Meet is a close second and is commonly the backup.
- Ease of use
- Easy controls
- Everyone knows and trusts Google
- Google Meet integrates very well into other programs
- More controls for the actual feed
- Wouldlike to be able to separate the video from the audio feed
- More options for file sharing
- More options for controlling participants
- It is very low costs, so the ROI is huge
- The purposeful confusion on the Google Calendar leaves a sour impression
- Google Meet has made it virtually impossible for folks to INSIST on showing u at the office in person
- Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom
I prefer Zoom, but Google Meet is a good alternative. Zoom is more secure and easier to manage. Zoom has more customization and I trust it more, as too many Google apps get changed without you knowing.
