Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets

I use Google Sheets as a resources-planning tool with my colleagues. It allows us to stay organized and collaborate at the same time on a project.
  • Simultaneous collaboration
  • User-friendly
  • Occasionally lags, have to refresh screen
  • Double click to autopopulate cells would be a great feature!
  • Increased team efficiency through collaboration
  • Keeps day-to-day work organized as it is a one-stop-shop for most of my files
I prefer Microsoft Excel's functionality because I think it is slightly more user-friendly than Google Sheets, but because of the cloud storage and sharing capabilities of Sheets, I literally always opt to use Sheets over Excel. I really think the only advantage that Microsoft has over Google in this area is that it was grandfathered in - Sheets has at least 99% of the functionality and look as Excel.

I use Google Sheets with my Account Executives to plan which person will prospect into certain accounts. It makes it so easy for two people on different sides of the country to edit the same document at the same time. I use Google Sheets every day and legitimately cannot find any scenario where it would not be a useful tool. I even take notes in Sheets.
