Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets

Google Sheets is used in many different departments in my organization . Few of them which i know is HR dept, finance dept, sales dept, etc. The main problem that is taken care of is working remotely, everyone remains on same page thus less complexity and confusion while working from home.
  • Automatically saving documents
  • Working both in offline and online mode
  • Document can be accessed through phone ,web , pc.
  • In built chat feature.
  • Missing macros
  • Limited analytical functionality
  • Starts to lag when data is heavy
  • Glitches when data from another sheet is copied
  • Google Sheets is free. So compared to others there is 100% cost saving
  • It is available in both online and offline mode, so no need to create cloud thus saving bucks
  • It is easy to understand and doesn't required hard training, thus saves time and in today's world time is money.
Google Sheets is newest of all and is easy to understand. It has better UI or display then rest all. Minimal design helps to focus more on work. In built chat features is one that makes it stand out of league then rest of all. Unlike MS Excel and LibreOffice it is available both online and offline.

Do you think Google Sheets delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Google Sheets's feature set?

Yes

Did Google Sheets live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Google Sheets go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Google Sheets again?

Yes

Google Sheets can be very helpful in a small organization. Where there is less use of analytical function and only need is to store data it can be used. It is also useful for the person who is working remotely as its autosaving and online accessibility feature is helpful. It is not recommended in large organisations where data is huge and requires a lot of formulas to be applied. Also where analytical skills are required it won't work well.
