Google Sheets a good alternative and backup interface

Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets

Mostly I use Google Sheets to save and scan Excel documents, entering the data elsewhere but sometimes needing to present material in a Google environment. It works pretty well, but is not as familiar for me as the Microsoft original. Sometimes counter-intuitive, though I would probably improve with practice.

Pros

  • It's easy to save.
  • It's easy to convert a file.
  • It's nice that its consistent with your google account across devices.

Cons

  • Find function can be esoteric and unwieldy.
  • Not always sure about how to get things to display.
  • Not very easy to print, or chose a selection.
  • It's just another interface for files I need.
Despite difficulties, I do continue to see it as a backup and alternative.
I use Google Sheets when working for a google-supported company.

It's good for review and conversion of data, more difficult when creating an original table or chart.
