Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Google Sheets for data clean-up and visualisation, and for getting data from Intercom via their Rest API through the Apps Script feature.

Cons

Formulas in Google Sheets don't work as well as in Excel

Google Sheets has enabled us to easily collaborate both within the organisation and outside

It's a good product, that just needs a little upgrade to allow for more complex formulas

Well suited if you want to work on the same file with multiple people - makes collaboration easier and convenient. Less appropriate if you need to use nested IF formulas, as it breaks after the 2nd or 3rd
