Overall Satisfaction with Google Sheets
We use Google Sheets to create and store content such as all our product details, customer reviews, brand partners, supplier details, etc. We perform a lot of calculations on Google Sheets as well, such as revenue forecasts and cost analysis with certain business partnerships and budgeting. We also prepare purchase orders and pro forma invoices within Google Sheets.
Pros
- Google Sheets is extremely easy to use. We have been using it for more than 7 years in our business and never switched to any other platform.
- It is free to use, which makes it easy for small businesses, freelancers, creators, and students. They don't have to invest in expensive software.
- My most favourite feature is everything gets auto-saved in the cloud so data is never lost.
Cons
- When I am on the homepage of Google Sheets, it shows only 10-15 recent files and does not show the older ones. It makes it difficult to search an old file whose name I might have forgotten.
- It has helped save us a lot of time. We created one product master last year and have been sharing the same with seller partners ever since.
- The file-sharing feature also made it super easy to share files with relevant team members without having to give access to everything.
- The fact that it is free to use helped us save a lot of money we would have spent otherwise on other similar software.
Google Sheets is free, and also all the data gets auto-saved in the cloud. This makes things a lot easier; in case I ever lose my laptop or if it stops working, I will still have all my data with me.

- It allows you to export the file as Excel, CSV, etc. This feature is super helpful.
- We can open any spreadsheets directly from our Gmail, as it is so well integrated.
Yes - Google Sheets offers a mobile app too. It is super easy to use. I often work on it when I am on the go and can't access my laptop.
