Overall Satisfaction with Grammarly
Grammarly is used by every single one of our employees at my company as a way to make sure that we are being intentional with our messaging. This includes using the Grammarly add-on for email, in our Google Drive docs/sheets/slides/forms, and pretty much any other written content that we create. It ensures that our spelling and grammar is correct whenever we send messaging out, ensuring we aren't making silly mistakes that can cost us money in reprinting or making digital ads look less professional.
- Identifies spelling issues
- Identifies grammatical issues
- Offers solutions for identified issues
- Sometimes the add-on doesn't adjust when I edit the middle of a sentence
- Sometimes the add-on graphic that appears in the bottom left of text boxes can get in the way of expanding the box (primarily an issue on Linkedin)
- Spell Check
- Grammar Check
- Identifies the "mood" of the message
- We use the free version, so there is no negative ROI
I honestly have no idea what companies could be considered Grammarly's competition as I didn't look beyond Grammarly for a solution to my needs. I had heard about the product through word-of-mouth, which is why I went to go download the add-on, and seeing that Grammarly was the top-ranked product in its space, I just downloaded it right away.
