Our Ultimate Communications Tool
Overall Satisfaction with Grammarly
Grammarly plays a significant role in my business from operations to a personal note taking document. One of the key uses is helping to check our students assignment for plagarism where it helps us identify where any copied work has been sourced from. Additionally we use it in helping right copy that flows for marketing e.g blog or website copy. It helps us to ensure grammatic errors and spelling is corrected and our work looks and sounds professional.
Pros
- Plagiarism detection - Helps us ensure submitted students' work is original and identify's sourced work
- Writing enhancement - it offers great suggestions to make our words used is clear and engaging
- Grammar and spelling check - catches those annoying grammar and spelling mistakes I make as a dyslexic user
Cons
- Consistent UK English - it would be great if Grammarly consistently adhered to UK English settings for spelling and grammar
- Document format - enhance the formating options directly, making it easy to find the bold, italics and underling features.
- Colour options - as a dyslexic user the use of colour would be great. Being able to highlight text with a colour background or being able to change the entire document background.
- Read aloud - I would love to be able to click a button to have Grammarly read my work for me when I use its webpage directly.
- Time saver - Grammarly significantly reduces the time spent on proofreading and editing, allowing us to focus on other critical tasks.
- Valuable alternatives - a valuable alternative to tools like Turnitin, helping us maintain academic integrity at some level.
- Mobile usage - Integrating with my mobile or tablet ensures clear and grammatically correct communication across all our communications.
