Overall Satisfaction with Gumlet

Using Gumlet for hosting videos on my e-learning platform. This tool helped to provide variety of resolution to my audience without any compromise on the delivery speed and quality. There is no buffering seen at all even with 4k videos. The CRM management is also working fine along with security and individual branding

Pros

  • the video uploaded in 4k was retailored to multiple resolution and stored. On slow network the lower resolution was the feed whereas on high bandwidth, we saw 4k was the feed.
  • The security was seen enabled on the source and same was visible at destination

Cons

  • In my opinion, the dashboard should be improved to make it more customer friendly with more video tutorials trainings
  • I believe the videos should be easier to move from one collection to other collection

I have particularly used it for video hosting where we have found it to be particularly helpful. This hosting of videos can be done with individual branding and thereby enabling to remove any other default branding present. It is useful for cases with higher audience count as there is option also to see the usage of the videos from within Gumlet dashboard.
