Overall Satisfaction with HackerEarth Assessments

HackerEarth is the technical assessment platform that we use to hire new employees. The HackerEarth assessments are given as part of the interview process. We use HackerEarth to assess the aptitude in programming skills from the HackerEarth assessment score. As the score is generated on aspects such as the candidate's problem-solving ability and speed, the HackerEarth assessment serves as a good measure to judge a candidate before that person is called for the next round of interviews.
  • Option of proctored/unproctored assessment.
  • Uniform structure of assessment.
  • Variety of problem sets to choose from.
  • Code editor should be more responsive for auto suggestions.
  • Practice environment should be located in such a way that it should be found easily.
  • A transparent and publicly available pricing.
  • Question pool.
  • Data structure and algorithm-based assessment.
  • Report generation.
  • 10 working hours saved weekly which used to be spent on interviews.
  • Approximately 3 employees' worth of manpower is saved.
  • The benefit of allowing assessment in multiple languages allowed the interviewee to concentrate on evaluation on the basis of underlying concepts.

It also provides integration with several other applications such as greenhouse, workable, Smartrecruiters, LinkedIn Talent Hub, Prelude, Okta, etc. Also, It's free for candidates who want to gather credibility by putting up their scores on the profile.

  • To conduct a preliminary assessment round when there are multiple candidates to choose from. Helps you to filter out candidates on the basis of requirements.
  • The questions that are assigned for each test are different, so the probability of any two candidates getting the exact same questions is very less.
  • However, the questions are based on the same concepts so as to provide an equal ground to all the candidates.
  • However, if you have to choose from less number of candidates you are better off conducting normal interviews, as these tests are time-consuming for both interviewers and employers.
