Hatchbuck is a winner.
Overall Satisfaction with Hatchbuck
We use Hatchbuck to send weekly emails to our mailing list. In addition, Hatchbuck sends a series of follow-up emails when someone expresses interest in our services.
Pros
- Event driven emails. We provide a number of services and when potential customers access our website and inquire about one of those services, Hatchbuck sends follow up emails that assist those prospects in becoming customers. It also notifies us of someone's interest.
- Event notifications. When someone clicks one of the links in our emails, Hatchbuck notifies us immediately so we can respond.
- Customer Service. Whenever we have a question about how to do something or a potential new feature, the Hatchbuck team is very responsive. Often the "potential new features" have already been handled.
- Ease of use. Hatchbuck is relatively easy to use and intuitive. Any issues or questions are easily handled by Customer Service.
Cons
- Date driven emails. It would be nice to generate emails on a date (i.e. December 18th) or time of month (i.e. 3rd Thursday in November). The Hatchbuck team has told me that this suggestion is on their list of improvements.
- Responsiveness to prospect needs. We've got customized Hatchbuck forms on most of the pages of our website and Hatchbuck allows us to track what prospects do on our website and to be responsive to their needs.
- Employee Efficiency. Using Hatchbuck, we are able to easily generate our weekly emails as well as follow up emails, which is an important part of our marketing campaign.
Cost wise, Hatchbuck is more expensive than Constant Contact, which it replaced. Feature wise, Hatchbuck provides more functionality and features than Constant Contact.
