Overall Satisfaction with Planful (formerly Host Analytics)

Host Analytics Cloud EPM Suite is used by our worldwide finance organization for financial consolidation and reporting as well as for operational and revenue planning.

Pros

  • Performs consolidation and planning functions dependably and reliably
  • Designed to be administered within the finance organization, without requiring IS/IT resources
  • Strong customer support and consideration of customer feedback in product design

Cons

  • Formatting options in the standard reporting tool are limited
  • Ease of use is a plus, but at times maintenance through the user interface can be time-consuming as it's all "point and click" with limited ability to quickly edit
  • Limited reporting and analysis tools for HR planning and capital planning data
  • Reporting is quickly and automatically updated for changes in account balances
Well suited for integration of actuals and plan data.

These are high priority areas for us and we are thrilled that they are making a difference for you. Your review is very important to us. While we appreciate the praise, we continuously strive to provide an even better user experience. In this month’s release (March ’16), additional Audit Log functionality was delivered with more details being captured. We are also expanding support for Excel: In the Winter release (February ’16), we launched the ability to export data to .xlsx files as well as use these file types with data loading.
