Overall Satisfaction with HPE Aruba Ethernet Switches
We are currently using and deploying Aruba Switches across our whole organization. We are upgrading our network with Aruba 2930m, 3810, 5412,5406 Gigabit Switches.
Pros
- Aruba switches are well built the modular power supplies are a plus.
- Swithces are so silent you don't even know they are on.
- VSF Stacking is easy to setup.
Cons
- I would like for the Aruba CLI to also support HP CLI commands as well.
- My overall experience with Aruba Switches and APs has been positive.
Cisco Switches are build to last forever however they are more expensive to purchase. HP Switches work well the fans do go out from time to time which will cause the switch to fail. Aruba Switches are priced right and have software and hardware improvements over HP.
