Overall Satisfaction with Human Interest

We use Human Interest as an easy and integrated way to manage our safe harbor 401(k). It takes the burden off of HR in that when an employee is eligible, they receive an email directly from Human Interest. The portal integrates with our HRIS so when employees sign up, their percentages are populated in our HRIS for payroll to pull accurately.

Pros

  • Integrates with our HRIS
  • Takes the clerical and admin burden off of HR
  • Ensures compliance

Cons

  • Dashboard has some features that are hard to find
  • Employees who are ineligible have to be manually toggled off
  • Rehires don't have an adjusted start date
  • Ability to offer a very competitive 401(k) benefit
The dash is sufficient for basic functions.
No other experiences with 401k portals.

Human Interest is great for all of our employees. Termed employees often do not know how to get in touch with Human Interest to cash in or roll over but that likely isn't on HI's side.
