Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio
Currently using IIP (ITP) for forecasting and CT for initial cost modelling. We are currently evaluating Targetprocess for SPM / Work Management.
Pros

Cons
- Cleaner interface / less complex / too configurable
- more clear "standards" to choose and auto-implement
- More help on how to use the results that the tool provides (culture change)
- Improvement of labor forecasting accuracy
- No improvement in any other business objectives except the forecasting for now.
We aren't using the budgeting. We use the labor portion of the forecasting to improve our accuracy (prevent bogus forecasts due to non-existent resources). We don't use Apptio for reporting yet, as we rely on an in-house datawarehouse for aggregated reporting. We plan to change this as we look at adding Targetprocess.

We have not yet used it as a suite to create or improve business outcomes.
