Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Virtual Servers
Our production, testing, and dev servers all run IBM Cloud VPC.
- Identity management - we are able to set different roles and access levels for the users.
- Rest APIs makes it so easy to automate certain tasks.
- IBM Cloud cost calculator determines the estimated costs and helps utilize the resources effectively.
- They have a great support team.
- Needs to add scheduled snapshot feature.
- Should add more regions in the VPC.
- Definitely needs to improve the documentation.
- We could get more CPU and RAM for lesser price. So we were able to support more users.
We have only 4 virtual server instances on the IBM Cloud. We never had to reserve machines.
Dedicated hosts drastically improved the application's stability and performance. The application was able to utilize resources like CPU and RAM to their fullest.
- Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Google Compute Engine
- IBM Cloud Foundry
- IBM Cloud Object Storage
