We use cloudability mainly to achieve 2 purposes:
1. Resource level cost
2. Business area level cost

Pros

  • resource level costing
  • different predefined reports
  • custom tagging support

Cons

  • cost should not be dependent on the aws usage
  • need to consider data from larger timeframe while providing rightsizing suggestions.
  • AWS Cloud cost optimization
  • Details resource level report helps to fins overspending
Very user friendly and no need to special training to use it. The predefined reports helps to see the aws cost usage and find the resources with maximum cost and minimum cost very quickly.
