Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloudability

We utilize IBM Cloudability to provide cost transparency to our engineers as to what their projects and applications are coating the company. Because all of our cloud spend flies budgeted and realized via a centralized cost center, a silo of information was created. With IBM Cloudability, engineers have near real time insights into what projects are costing, what tags are missing, what can be optimized, and any reporting they can think of.

Pros

  • Allowing for Multiple Cloud Providers
  • Jira Integration
  • Apptio BI Reporting Surface

Cons

  • View Functionality - all tags should be able to be utilized to filter down rightsizing recommendations
  • Jira integration with Anomaly Detection
  • Remove legacy reporting surface and fully transition to Apptio BI
  • Improved Visibiltiy into Costs
  • Awareness of untagged resources
I feel it is pretty user friendly once you get the hang of it.
  • IBM Apptio (formerly ApptioOne)
I love the interaction and not having to upload the same data into multiple systems.
We were already using ApptioOne

I cannot think of an area where IBM Cloudability is not well suited to provide valuable insights into cloud spend.
